Terms of Use
These terms apply to your use of the myTAXfile.now website. They are not an engagement agreement, and they do not create a client relationship.
Effective: August 1, 2026 · Last revised: August 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the myTAXfile.now website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
If you later engage us to provide tax services, that engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the engagement agreement controls for the services it covers.
2. Who we are
myTAXfile.now provides guided tax filing services for individuals, small businesses, and real estate investors in Washington, California, New York, Illinois, Texas, and Florida.
The contracting legal entity must be identified here: [PLACEHOLDER — legal entity name, entity type, and registered address]. Not yet confirmed.3. Permitted use of this website
You may read this website, and use it to learn about our services and to contact us. You may print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
Any other use requires our written permission.
4. Prohibited conduct
When using this website, you agree not to:
- break any applicable law, or use the site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data;
- interfere with or disrupt the website, or probe or scan it for vulnerabilities;
- introduce malware or any other harmful code;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content, or use automated means to access the site in a way that burdens it;
- copy, republish, or resell our content;
- misrepresent your identity, or impersonate any person or organization;
- submit another person's information without the authority to do so; or
- remove or obscure any notice of ownership on our content.
5. General information only
The content on this website is general educational information about tax topics and about our services. It is not tailored to your circumstances.
Tax rules change, vary by state, and depend heavily on individual facts. Content may become out of date, and we do not undertake to update it.
6. No professional advice
Nothing on this website is tax, legal, accounting, financial, or other professional advice. Reading this site is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
Any service suggestion, form recommendation, or price estimate presented on this website is preliminary. It is a starting point for discussion, not a determination. Do not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything you read here without obtaining appropriate professional advice.
7. No client relationship
Visiting this website does not make you our client. Neither does sending us a general enquiry, requesting a quote, or receiving a preliminary recommendation.
A client relationship begins only when we have agreed in writing to provide specific services to you and any required engagement agreement has been signed. Until then, we have no obligation to act on your behalf, meet any filing deadline, or preserve any information you send us.
Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send before an engagement exists may not be treated as confidential or privileged.
8. No guarantee of outcomes
We do not guarantee any particular result. In particular, we make no guarantee as to:
- the amount of any refund, or that you will receive one;
- any tax saving, deduction, credit, or reduction in liability;
- acceptance of a return by the IRS or any state agency;
- the absence of an audit, notice, examination, or adjustment;
- processing, review, or filing times; or
- the availability of any particular service, professional, or state.
Outcomes depend on your circumstances, the accuracy of the information provided, and the decisions of tax authorities — none of which we control.
9. Your responsibilities
If you engage us, you are responsible for giving us information that is accurate, complete, and provided in time for the work to be done. We rely on what you tell us, and we are not required to audit or independently verify it unless we have agreed to do so.
You remain responsible for the content of any return filed on your behalf, for retaining your own records, and for meeting filing and payment deadlines that apply to you.
Incomplete or inaccurate information can lead to an incorrect return, penalties, interest, or delay.
10. Do not send sensitive information
To protect your information, please do not send sensitive documents through this public page or regular email. After you start, you can securely upload documents from your personal account. We may also provide a secure upload link in your confirmation email.

We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms.
Where we later use outside providers to deliver parts of our service, those providers' terms may also apply to that part of the service. We will identify them when they are engaged.
13. Availability and changes

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising out of your use of this website, or for any decision you make in reliance on its content.
The scope of these disclaimers, any cap on liability, any exclusion, and any carve-out required by applicable law must be drafted and approved by an attorney: [PLACEHOLDER — limitation of liability, to be drafted by counsel]. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, and enforceability varies by state.15. Governing law and disputes
Governing law, venue, and any dispute resolution procedure have not been determined and must be set by an attorney: [PLACEHOLDER — governing law and jurisdiction] · [PLACEHOLDER — dispute resolution procedure]. We have deliberately not stated a governing state, arbitration clause, class-action waiver, or limitation period, because inventing them would be misleading and potentially unenforceable.16. We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last revised" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
